Gone today, here tomorrow. That’s how the week feels until Friday comes along, but until the weekend comes again, we’ve got to keep our shenanigan game on and strong, because it’s a new week. Which means that you shouldn’t stop doing whatever makes you happy, or fills your heart up with joy. Joy so massive, you want the whole world there to experience it with you, to help you express it. Okay, maybe you just want one or two other people there. Basically, what I’m trying to say, is to do whatever floats your boat. Do you, and be happy. With that said, here’s a list of things I compiled for you to do in DTLA. So, get ready and maybe even grab a friend. Adventuretime awaits you.

Wake Me Up (before you go go)

Before you officially start your day, go get caffeinated at Shreebs Coffee, which has now popped up in the Arts District! Go get your iced cold brew latte, or grab an iced tea. Whatever you’re into, just wake up and be happy + their pop up is super cute too!

Let Me Borrow That Top

Need new threads? Go swing by Kit and Ace in their new pop up shop which is centrally located in the Arts District, which is also super close to Shreebs!! (just sayin’) — They specialize in technical cashmere that’s designed to look great and feel amazing. Because comfort is paramount, and they want you to forget the small stuff, so you can keep on doing what you do, aka LIVING.

Shake Your Tail Feather

Beat the midweek slump by getting your squad together so you can call a hole in the floor for DIG DEEPER at the Ace DTLA. It’s their One Year Anniversary too! So, you know it’s gonna be smoking haute! If you never attended Dig Deeper before, then you’ll want to get ready for some radical fun, because these ladies know to groove, and have jams that will dig deep, right into your soul (yass). Go enjoy the talents of local hero Heidi + resident/founders Alison Swing & MASHA. It’s FREE with RSVP!! RSVP here!

Wine Me And Dine Me

Oh, oui! There’s a new kid in town aka Le Petit Paris. It’s a new restaurant that features dishes from South of France and provides a true French brasserie dining experience to Downtown LA’s Historic Core (they’re located in the historic El Dorado building). They offer an extensive selection of European and California red, white and rosé wines by the glass and bottle, as well as Champagne! Their full bar also serves signature cocktails. Basically, if you’re looking for a new hotspot, datespot, or winespot, go here, and then take me with you (I kid, I kid).

What A Broad

Have you been to the new contemporary art museum that recently opened up? If not, then you’ll want to go explore The Broad! This museum is home to the nearly 2,000 works of art in the Broad collection  (think postwar and contemporary). They’re located on Grand Avenue, and will be offering free general admission. Want to get some free tickets? Beat the wait, before it’s too late, and reserve yours here.

So, now my list has now come to an end. You can take it, or leave it.  Do as you please. All I ask is for you to make this week one of the best, because we only have this one life to live, so you better live it up (#YOLO).

P.S. Let me know if you end up visiting one of the places of mentioned above. If you really love it, like it, or maybe not even like it at all. Share your thoughts with me, and take a picture (or else it didn’t happen), then tag me @ineedsomemoore — show me what you’re into.

Talk soon! xo.
